I am an 24 year-old professional nanny, who is seeking a part-time position in the Murfreesboro or Woodbury area. I have been working in the feild for almost 5 years and have experience caring for children from birth, through the teen years. Work History: I was hired as a nanny, for the first time, at the age of 18. I started, in November 2015, caring part-time, for a then 20 month-old. A baby sibling was added to the family in January of 2016, and I went full-time (37+ hours weekly) caring for both of them in April of that year. I stayed with that family 'til September of 2018, when I moved home to Tennessee with my family. After returning to Tennessee, I took a year off from working. Then, in September of 2019, I was hired to care part-time for 3 children ages 4, 8, and 14 and, I Read more am still currently employed by this family, but am seeking a different position. Other Childcare Related Experience: Worked cleaning house for a family (from Jan. 2015-Mar. 2016) and would also babysit their 5 children for bi-monthly date nights. Interned at a 2 week Day Camp for ages 9-12 in Aug. 2019 Worked as a substitute teacher at a daycare for 2 months in 2017. Attributes: I am Professional: I take my job seriously and always strive to provide the best care for the little ones entrusted to me. Reliable : You can count on me to be there. Punctual : I can number on one hand, all the times I've been late. Patient : I am capable of coping with colicky babies and I've survived my fair share of epic toddler tantrums. Gentle : While I believe discipline is important, I am also against yelling and the harsh treatment of children. I do not yell at or roughly handle the little ones in my care. I don't smoke or swear, and I am committed to safety. I have zero criminal record. I have taken and been certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid .
