Hi ya’ll! I’m currently a criminal justice student studying at Washburn University. For the past 3 years I have been working at Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence and providing before and after school care for kiddos ranging in ages from 5 to 10. Some of the duties included: Creating and implementing various lessons and activities for 15+ children, supervising during field trips, communicating with families about their child’s behavior/acclimation to our club, and ensuring their safety while having fun. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have had and I am immensely blessed to know these babies and love them when they might not feel that elsewhere. I look forward to learning more about your family and creating a safe space for your children while making memories!
