Hello. I'm Pat and have been working with young children since 1987. I took 15 years off to raise my girls. Starting in 2011 I began working as a lead infant teacher at a preschool in Simpsonville. In 2017 I became a nanny to a family of 2 sets of twins. The children were newborn infants and 3 years old when I started. I was with them for just shy of 4 years. During that time I was responsible for prepping breakfast, lunch, and snacks. I took care of the children's laundry, we played many games, read books, and did art projects. If needed I would sweep and vacuum, load and unload the dishwasher, along with any other tasks that would make the family's evening a bit easier. While working full-time I also like to babysit on the weekends. I used to have a few families in which I babysat, Read more but most of those kids have out-grown the need of a babysitter. When I babysit, I usually feed the child(ren) dinner and snack. Sometimes the parents will ask me to give them a bath. We will play games, do crafts and read books. All activities are age and developmentally appropriate. If there is something special the parents want me to do with their child(ren) I will do it. I graduated with a BA in Psychology from USC-Aiken. I have completed the ECD-101 Certificate from Greenville Tech and am First Aid & CPR Certified. If you are interested, I am willing to participate a background and traffic check. I hope to meet you soon.
