Hi to all! I’ve had an interest and love of infants and children since childhood and have worked as a babysitter, nanny, mother's helper, and more! Because of my passion for kids, I obtained an undergraduate degree in Human Development/Special Education from Vanderbilt University, followed by a Graduate Degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University, during which I worked with high-risk infants and children. For more than 30 years, I’ve gained experience and important skills caring for infants, children, and adolescents, including children with developmental delays, mental health disorders, and behavioral difficulties. I’m very capable, caring, and resourceful, and particularly good at developing a positive rapport with kids, no matter their age. For many years I’ve provided all the care needed for newborns to all ages and have had continued callbacks from parents. I am also very comfortable being with and caring for animals of all kinds.
