I have been babysitting for the past 14 years and I have been a nanny for 3 different families for the past 8/9 years. I graduated from the College of Charleston in December 2016 with a BS in elementary education. I am very outgoing, adventurous, love to get silly with kids and use everything I have learned from my degree in order to stimulate deep, conceptual learning and the critical thinking process that will be essential in every aspect of life. I am a very firm believer of using positive reinforcement and redirecting any situation into a life lesson learning moment no matter what happens. They are just kids and do not always know how to handle their emotions. It's our job as adults to show them how to handle any situation life throws us, even when you think you've hit a brick wall. I was their nanny from 2009-2011, which is when I left for college. The second family of 3 girls was from 2014-2017 and I still currently help them out twice a week. I moved to Chicago in September 2017- September 2018 to be a live in nanny for a 4 month old. I moved back to start working in my field.
