In my twenties, I had chosen the career path of a 911 Dispatcher. Having 2 children, night shifts were difficult because my husband was a firefighter whom also worked nights shifts. Quality, dependable care was not to be found. After losing a gentleman over the phone, I decided to open my own daycare to cater to the many firemen and rescue workers who needed care that was trustworthy overnight. I kept my business open for 2 years and then sold the daycare due to moving to another state. I have now returned to the daycare business and being older, I am able to enjoy my decision even more so.
