Hi everyone! I’m Destiny👋. I’m moving to Cane Bay at the end of October, to further my future down south. I’ve currently been living in Boston, Massachusetts my whole life and love being surrounded by the city and my 5 siblings but I’ve come to know that If I want change to occur I must get up and make it happen, and for me my change is else where. I’m looking for any families that would be interested in a nanny. Being paid by my mom as a nanny for almost a year and a half for my four siblings that are two sets of twins, ages 1/4, was not only a blessing but a job I could never consider letting go. With the two now 5-year-olds going to kindergarten "Sissy's School" is unfortunately no longer needed. I have access to an app where I find pride in logging the Read more kids daily activities and Learning progress, along with a simple admiration for how kids learn and play. Other than working as a nanny, I’ve worked about 2 years in a swimming pool teaching ages 3 months-12 year olds how to swim and keeping them safe in the pool during my lifeguard certified shifts. Along with my knowledge of childhood development I’ve also worked in food prep with my dad in catering events and with my aunt in a cafe. This knowledge, helping me keep vigilant and on my toes, definitely over flows to my work with kids. The biggest aspect and the thing I'll miss the most in the time being away from my siblings is purity in their imaginations and my admiration of their developing minds. Being “Sissy” is the biggest thing that’s ever meant something to me but in order for me to be the best sissy i can be i have to start my journey of finding myself. In doing that, i hope to grasp every bit of knowledge and bring it back to them as wisdom on their journey. To keep things slightly short…….. the last skill of mine is being open ( if it wasn’t hard to see by the post lol ). I believe my inability to not jump to put everything on the table is an east coast skill called “you get what yah see” and that is an asset i believe any family would want in someone caring for their greatest achievement. With all this being said if anyone is looking for an open, caring, observant nanny who will not only teach your child but learn from them let me know!
