I was a stay-at-home mom for 20 years. Once my children were self-sufficient, I returned to college and earned a degree in nursing. I graduated nursing school in 2020 and have worked as a registered nurse since. I have experience in oncology, labor and delivery, primary care, and most recently, holistic/functional medicine. In 2022 I returned to college to get my master's degree and become a nurse practitioner. I have decided to work part-time during my last year of school and working locally as a nanny is a perfect fit for my work, school, and life balance. As a mom and nurse, my childcare skills are exemplary. I am well-educated and would be qualified to assist with any homeschooling needs. I have a background in music, I was a trained opera singer, so I love to impart music into my childcare. I strongly believe children thrive when they are outdoors, Read more engaged in play, and away from screens as much as possible. I am calm, kind, and warm. I love to do activities that get kids thinking and laughing! To be licensed as a registered nurse in South Carolina you must be fully vetted with a criminal history background check conducted by the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). My licensure can be confirmed by visiting https://llr.sc.gov/nurse/BoardInformation.aspx and searching by name (Christina Malonis). As a nurse, I am also required to be certified in CPR by the American Heart Association.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
