I have been babysitting for 5 years, and I have worked with children of all ages! I was a nanny for 6 months for a 4 year old little boy and a 2 year old little girl. I would watch them 3 days a week in the evening while their mother worked from 4:30-9:30. I would feed them, play with them and get them ready for bed. I also worked in a child care facility for part-time as well as full-time over the course of 2 years. During my time there, I worked in every single classroom at some point in time. I mainly worked in the 2-3 year classroom. As a teacher, I taught the children several things like counting, shapes, the alphabet, colors, nursery rhymes, etc. I loved my time working there! I was a nurturing and caring teacher, while also being firm and implemented appropriate discipline when Read more necessary. I helped potty train children as well. I also have been a babysitter for 2 wild and precious twin boys! So I am familiar with chaos, and juggling lots of children. Most recently I have been a babysitter to a 4 year old little girl 2-3 days a week. I would pick her up from school, and take her home and feed her a snack, let her have quiet time and I would play lots of fun games and activities with her. I also recently (up until the corona virus) have been picking up a 9 year old girl and an 11 year old boy from school. I would take them home and help them with their homework, and play with them as well. I would also take them to soccer practice, gymnastics lessons and tutoring lessons as well. I love children, and I am a kid at heart which makes me a fun, enthusiastic and caring person!
