Hi my name is Bernadette. I am a physically fit, active grandma of two boys ages 5 and 3. I am originally from the U.K. one of six siblings with a plethora of nieces, nephews and two children of my own, family is paramount to me. Finding myself with time to spare and the need to supplement my income I am hoping to find families with a similar ideology to mine, and put my wealth of experience to good use. I have a Bachelors in Sociology, studied Psychology and counselling techniques. Volunteered as a public speaker in grades K-12 educating students on child safety, stranger danger and abuse. More recently I worked as a School Bus Driver for Charleston County, transporting students with special needs. I am currently employed by The Hilton Group as a banquet server and breakfast attendant. I am an avid reader and thoroughly enjoy reading to Read more my grandsons, we also like board games, jigsaw puzzles, coloring, drawing, running around the garden etc.,Kids are always learning and growing, as it most definitely should be, but I see no reason why they can't have fun doing so, as I truly believe every child should feel safe, loved, nurtured and happy.
