Hi my name is Jorja Streeter! I am a sophomore at URI studying communicative disorders. I have been babysitting since I was around 13 starting with family members and close friends. I come from a large family, therefore I have always been exposed to kids of all ages. Along with babysitting I also have taught swimming lessons with a local swim program in my hometown for many years where I worked with kids ages 2-12. Through this program I have also been RedCross certified. I also taught dance at my studio throughout middle and high school teaching ages 2-18. Growing up my mom has always been the director of a preschool, through her I really learned the value of incorporating education in fun and different ways to children’s everyday life. I love exploring different learning techniques with children through creative play and fun activities. With that being said I love Read more to show up with exciting games to keep children entertained. I am originally from New Hampshire and growing up I loved to be outside which is something I still carry with me as an adult! Introducing children to the world outside whether it be the beach, hikes, walks, or just the backyard, anything active to enrich kids lives is so special and important.
