Hello Community!!! I've been an occasional paid babysitter for over 20 years. In the last 10+years I've worked as a Direct Support Professional, mainly individuals on the Autism Spectrum. I love what I do. The people, the community, the bond I've developed with families throughout the years, being a caretaker is what I enjoy. Personally I have elderly parents, so I am aware of elder care and needs. My nieces and nephews, ranging from 1 years old to 23!, I've helped raised and raising. Professionally, like I've stated, I work as a Direct Support Professional. I assist in living skills, healthy meal preps, housework...laundry!!! Did I mentioned I also worked in a laundromat. So I'm one of those people who find laundry to be meditative. Lol. Also, homework help is usually more of me helping child focus. I am aware of current educational teaching formats, my nieces and nephews keep Read more me up to date. Hope this little tidbit helps you get "to know" me. Thanks for expressing interest in what I can offer in care.
