Hello families! My name is Khazia and I'm looking forward to the possible opportunity to babysit your children. I'm a 25 year old Providence, RI native who has approximately 7 years of professional experiences working with children, ages ranging from 3-12 years old. My experiences include volunteering at daycares under the organization Jumpstart, working as a teaching fellow at Breakthrough Providence, providing Personal Assistance Service and Support (PASS worker) to a family with special health care needs with daily life skills, worked as a babysitter for a short period time, and lastly I worked as a 5th grade teacher in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 3 years. As you may see I have devoted my early years working with children because I absolutely love working with children and it has always been a passion of mines. In all my experiences above I hold myself accountable of being super active with the children, Read more having and encouraging a positive framework/mindset, and overall meeting children's emotional and social needs. I'm currently in the process of taking a year break from teaching and will return back in the field this fall.
