Hello! I am a mom of 3 grown children. I stayed at home with my children for 17 years. I was an Elementary school teacher before I had my own kids. I’ve also worked as a Pre-School teacher. Potty training is my forte! I specialized in Reading and Writing, and I’m an avid reader, so books are very important for me to share with children. I have young nephews that I babysit here and there. Now that my children are grown, I just love being around young kids because I miss those early discovery years and the look on their faces when they figure something out. I’ve also cared for Elderly patients in home, so I consider myself a true care giver. My whole life, I’ve always assumed that role. I am a very energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a multi tasker to say the least. I have Read more always had my CPR through the years and would be willing to recertify for this year. I was a lifeguard and swimmer myself. I also provide tutoring to Elementary aged children. My education consists of a BA is Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Counseling, and an MA in Elementary Education with a minor in Nutrition. My hobbies include reading, exercising (especially running), cooking and spending time with my extended family.
