Hello! I have been a professional live-in nanny (NJ & PA) & live-out nanny (locally here in PA) for many years. I have worked extensively with both genders, ages 4 weeks through 14 years of age. I have vast experiences with multiples (boy/girl, boy/boy, girl/girl), those with special/medical needs (Autism, ADHD, Type 1 Diabetes, food allergies, etc.) I did work for a large daycare system prior to nannying full-time in which I worked with each age group every day. My major in college was developmental psychology with a minor in sociology; post-college I attended an American Montessori Teacher Training Program (ages 2-6, 'The Absorbent Mind' stage). I love to continually find ways to utilize activities (even of the "every day" variety") into extra enriching/educational experiences for children when possible. I am active & engaged with children under my care and do take an individualized approach with each child. I love Read more to swim, dance, visit parks, libraries, and am resourceful in finding age-appropriate activities do with children in & around the area. However, safety is always my first concern. I take preemptive safety measures whenever possible and am trained in infant & child first aid. Also, I am quite skilled in nutrition and balancing out meals well. With regard to pets, I have had dogs & cats my whole life (still do!) and most families I have worked for previously have had at least one pet I help care for. I absolutely love animals, big or small, and am skilled in caring for them. I literally love what I do & have a passion for my profession. I hope you reach out to me if my profile speaks to you--if so, I would love to speak further with you & your family!
