Hey Jeremy! Hey Marissa! Hey! I am responding to your post regarding an occasional babysitter! I figured I’d tell you a little bit about myself and see if I may be able to meet your family’s needs as a potential sitter! My name is Evelyn, I am 37 years old, non-smoker, have my own reliable transportation, and currently reside in the Sunset Hills area of Mt. Lebanon. Most recently, I have been employed as a nanny to a female infant, starting when she was about 4 months old. My job description included meeting the primary needs of a growing infant as well as to provide daily developmentally appropriate enrichment and activities. Due to the family moving in June, that unfortunately ended our time together (10/21 - 6/22). Previously, I was hired to prepare a young toddler for daycare. I spent late spring/summer working with as a part-time nanny for this Read more 1.5 year old boy, preparing him for a September daycare start. Oh, and he was a rockstar when daycare started last September! A little about me - I have 25+ years experience working with children of all ages, from newborn to adolescence. My preference is for part-time or short term opportunities. I have a Master’s in Science in Applied Developmental Psychology with a focus in working with children who have been through trauma. I spent 5 years working for the Children’s Hospital of Pgh following grad school in various departments, developing a soft spot for the young developing child (I spent 2.5 years in the NICU) and into the toddler years. There’s just so much growing and learning on everyday!! I am CPR-certified for adults, children, and infants as well as for Basic Life Support. Due to working at a children’s hospital, I have been fingerprinted for the FBI data, have my clearances, and I am fully vaccinated including boosters for Covid-19. Several references will be provided. My schedule is pretty flexible right now and caring for little ones is something I genuinely enjoy. I am often available for those last minute, not a lot of notice type things. Thank you for your time and consideration! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! - Evelyn 412-302-9033 evie.och@gmail.com
