My brother is about 7 years younger than me, so when I was 7, I would help take care of and spend time with him. From that experience, I knew that I wanted to babysit once I turned 12. When I reached this age, I started officially babysitting for him, as well as for other families in the area. I did this until I turned 18 and left for college. During my summer break after freshman year of college, I was a camp counselor (as well as a bus counselor) at Lakeview Day Camp. I worked with age groups spanning from preschool to middle school aged kids. Through all my aforementioned experiences, I loved working with kids and would love to get back into babysitting again!
