I am a retired pediatric nurse who loves kids and pets. I worked in NYC for 4 years in a pediatric hospital. Also worked per diem at St Joseph’s Center in a supervisory role as well as patient care. I worked in Scranton State Hospital on the pediatric floor. The last 27 years of my career I was the School Nurse at Riverside Elementary East, responsible for approximately 500 students. I also worked at St Joe’s during summers and weekends during the school year. I would have to renew my CPR certificate as I let it lapse when I retired along with my license. Full disclosure I use a cane due to a back problem but I don’t need it indoors. It’s like my security blanket when I go out. I have 2 grandsons ages 2 and 4. I watched both of them since birth until they went to daycare/ Read more preschool. They gave me purpose again when I retired and are the loves of my life. I have 2 adult children. My daughter lives outside of Philly and my son lives in Moosic. I prefer to take care of infants and young toddlers. I would love the opportunity to take care of your precious child and I would love and care for them as if they were my own.
