I worked at a daycare center since I graduated high school. The ages of the children I cared for range from infant to school age. Every week I provided a curriculum supporting the theme which includes: reading readiness, social skills, science, social studies, math, manipulative, learning letters/numbers, health/wellness, and music/movement. Each year, I take childcare trainings required for the center. I received my CDA for preschool children towards the end of 2013. Before then, during my high school years, I had the privilege to instruct children from ages 3-10 in the art of dance for 4 years. I also coached a kindergarten cheer-leading team in the fall of 2009. Furthermore, I took childcare classes including Child Development and Childcare Internship. Not to mention on my free-time I enjoy caring for my 2 energetic nieces as well. Likewise, I have a love for animals and own 3 playful shelties.
