I am 22 years old & have been babysitting for over ten years. I have always enjoyed babysitting and looking after other people’s children. Even when I was young and had babysitters, I looked up to them so much. Children are a huge part of my life. I am going to go to school for midwifery. I am a certified Counselor Advocate. I am also a certified nurse assistant and doula. I love the creativity and naivety of children. I enjoy card games, playing with toys, arts & crafts, some sports, learning new insights & ways of looking at the world from children. I started babysitting & nannying in fifth grade. My first job was a third grader with special needs, & from there I have looked after infants, twins & children of all ages & unique attributes. I have been CPR certified twice as well as been BLS First Read more Aid trained, received ACLS, PALS & NRP certifications. I look forward to helping out your family! I am a highly dedicated team leader and crisis worker with over eight years’ experience in providing direct services to adults and youth in crisis. My passion and focus has always been on sexual violence prevention and LGBTQIA rights. I have experience with crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, and working within the hospital, police, and court systems. In addition, I have presented at conferences and facilitated workshops on: Queer and Trans Self Care, Healthy Coping Skills, Healthy Relationships, Boundaries and Consent, and “OK Touch, Not OK Touch” aka body autonomy for children. I am very interested in working to better educate the public on topics regarding sexual assault. I want to explore having the ability to work more hands on with child trauma cases and I would be thrilled to contribute my skills in organization, communication, and patient care. I think you will find that I am reliable, friendly and I learn quickly. I have a lot of experience working with people of all ages.
