With over 20 years of experience working with children, I began volunteering in my local church’s children’s ministry during my teenage years. This experience, which involved working with various age groups and leading summer activities, inspired me to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education at a community college. I have since worked as a preschool teacher, gaining hands-on experience in fostering early learning. In addition, I have served as a substitute teacher assistant in my local school district, further expanding my skills in supporting diverse student needs. As a parent of three children, I homeschooled two of them up to their 4th grade, which provided me with valuable insight into the educational process and individualized learning approaches. This experience has deepened my understanding of early childhood development and the importance of creating a nurturing learning environment. I am passionate about supporting children’s growth and ensuring their success, both academically Read more and socially.
