Hi, my name is Judy, I was raised in a house full of children. My mom ran a daycare in our home while we were growing up. As soon as I got old enough, I became partners with her in the daycare and did that for 20 plus years. Since then, I always loved being around children. I since retired and currently have 3 children of my own. They are all school aged. My oldest is 14 years old, very independent and inquisitive, my middle child is 12 years old, smart, persistent, and kind. My youngest is 7 years old and is full of life and energy. So not only do I have experience in child care, I am also experienced in raising wonderful children of my own. I would also have experience with children with special needs. My son has ASD and ADHD. He is now 14 years old Read more and thriving in all aspects of his life. He just recently attained his working papers a got himself a part-time job on the weekends which was his choice. He loves his new found independence and I am so proud of him. I would like to also add that I am CPR/BLS certified and am also currently taking courses twice a week in the evenings to become a certified nursing assistant (I will be certified in May of this year). I believe that all children are gifts from God and should be treated with love and kindness. I love doing fun activities with my kids such as drawing, painting, reading, science experiments, cooking, etc. I am available on weekdays and Saturdays between 9am to 5pm. I can also do overnights if needed. I own my own car and am comfortable with pets. I could assist with household chores such as light housekeeping, laundry, washing dishes, etc.
