Hello! I have worked with children for more than 35 years. I have a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education (Brenau University 2011), and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education (Millersville University 1995). I was blessed to work at Christian School of York (CSY) for 12 years and have been providing individualized private child care for the past 6 years. At CSY I taught kindergarten and preschool, served as Elementary Principal, built our Early Education Center, and served as Principal/Director of Early Education. As a child care provider now in the private sector, I love the opportunity to provide personalized and loving care to one family’s child. This allows me to truly get to know and understand the child so I can give him/her the very best for their growth and development. I have been married for 26 years. My husband has been a teacher and basketball Read more coach for 28 years. We have two young adult children, and a sweet little 8-pound hypoallergenic dog. I have a strong faith, a passion for American Sign Language, and absolutely love pouring into the lives of children. I believe deeply in high quality early education and helping each child learn and grow in meaningful and fun ways. I truly find joy in working with young children. I love helping them develop language and all the fundamental skills needed for a lifetime of success. I am CPR and First Aid certified, all my clearances, and excellent references.
