Hello!! My name is Katie and I am a stay at home mom to my 2.5 year old son. Experiencing life and learning is so much fun with him. We are busy with reading, daily park trips, imaginative play, conversations, building forts, doing crafts, quality time, and the like. We are also very active playing sports together like basketball, soccer, tag, hide and seek, etc. I firmly believe every moment we are learning and teaching- whether by example or directly. I am a certified teacher and have taught in elementary schools for many years since I graduated college. I taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 4th grade. I then filled in for long term assignments in all grades including high school and middle school. I have a specialization in math and I absolutely love to teach. I also have a lot of experience working as a floater in all the classrooms Read more of a learning center daycare. I stopped teaching to stay home and raise my son. Watching him learn and grow as we embrace the opportunities life brings is my absolute greatest joy. I do miss caring for more children and so I am looking to help someone out with their child or children in my home or yours and foster their natural desire for learning.
