I am looking for a new babysitting job to begin after my current job ends. Right now I am working for a family through the summer, so I will be able to begin at the start of the new school year (specifically, August 30th). I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old (so, in total, 14 years). I have had both long term and short term babysitting jobs. My most recent (and current) job was nannying for a family of three children (ages 6, 7, & 9) five days a week, during this past summer. I have babysat the age range of 2-14 years old. During my nannying/babysitting jobs, I have: driven kids to and from various activities (camps, sports, music lessons, etc); helped with school work; implemented behavior management strategies (such as a points system); completed errands for parents (grocery shopping, etc); light cleaning (of kitchens, kids' Read more bedrooms, playrooms); done laundry for the family; traveling with family (including outside of the country); cooking meals for the kids; and more. My top priorities when babysitting are keeping the children safe as well as keeping them happy! I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015 with an MEd in Instruction & Learning, and a Bachelor's in Developmental Psychology.
