Hi my name is Tonya. I live in Burgettstown, pa. I enjoy the outdoors when the weather is nice. I will admit I am a bit of a wimp about the cold but when its warm I like parks, swimming and walking. I like to read myself and read to kids. I enjoy playing with play doh and coloring with kids. I am not extremely creative or crafty but i do like to do simple crafts. I play a few video games with my son and kids I care for. My area of intrest is with special needs kids, particularly autism spectrum but I have met some cool typical kids too :) I get along well with kids that don't sit still much. I get bored pretty easily myself so we tend to get along well :) I have a B.A. in Psychology. I have had many early childhood courses Read more and trainings. I worked as a TSS (theraputic support staff) for over 2 yrs. Other jobs involving children I have had include head start teacher, aid in a kindergarten, substitute for Head Start, and a camp counselor for a summer camp. I have been a respite care provider for special needs children for 5 years. I have been babysitting for many years. I am 36 and started babysitting for pay when I was 11. Before that I took care of my little brother and pretty much and kid I could :-) kids have made me happy for as long as I can remember :-)
