My name is Erin, I’m 41 years old, and reside in Blairsville PA with my husband and two children, both boys, ages 10 & 2.5. I am willing to travel! I have been a nanny for 8+ years, caring for up to five children at a time. I am cpr and first aid certified, including infants, though I lost my card, I’m trying to get it replaced! I am also a CNA (for 22 years now!), and caring for people is my passion! Kids though, they have a very special place in my heart ♥️ I have excellent references, and a 5 star rating on care.com. I can provide light housekeeping and laundry duties, help with school work, potty training, cook and assist with meals, assist with nap time, any and all care for infant’s needs (toddler and big kids too!), etc . I have lots of experience with newborns/infants and have worked with families that welcomed a new little one while I was with them! I’ve never left a job on bad terms. Just a few reasons my position ended with families I worked with in the past: the kids were of age to attend school, they’ve decided they wanted to be a stay at home parent, they may have moved, or my services were just no longer needed! I’ve always been considered part of the family with past nanny/babysitting positions. I’m still in touch with everyone I’ve ever worked with, and often get updates on how the kiddos are doing. I still attend important events for the kids, such as dance recitals, baseball games, birthday parties etc. This is so much more than a job. It’s often becoming a small part of the family and staying that way after the job ends for the day, or if the family has decided to move on and my position with them was eliminated. I treat the kiddos I care for as my own, providing love, security, fun and education, without overstepping any family boundaries. I also have a great sense of humor! I LOVE to read to the kiddos in my care, sing songs (though my singing voice could use some work), play pretend, and help to gently encourage and teach the small little lessons in life! I’m honest, reliable and show up on time. I’m comfortable with cameras in the home. I’m very easy going as well! I have zero criminal background, and a clean driving record. I have a car of my own with current registration and insurance. My rate can definitely be negotiated within reason.
