PART TIME/ BABYSITTING ONLY. Caring and dependable child care professional with over 13 years of experience. Graduate from George Fox University, with a Master's in Teaching April 2020. I spent the 2019-2020 school year teaching 2nd grade, but have a passion for working with all ages! The 2020-2021 school year I have been substitute teaching in the Tigard-Tualatin and Sherwood school districts for grades K-12. Prior to pursuing my Master's degree, I graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in Human Development and Family Science. I've had the opportunity to study child development for multiple years, and work with children in various environments and from different backgrounds. As a care-giver I strive to promote learning and development through numerous games and activities. I love reading and playing, especially outdoors. I'm an active person who grew up in a family-oriented environment. I enjoy working with children because it's fascinating to Read more see them grow and develop. I also love to watch them play and interact with one another and simply be children. Lastly, I love having the opportunity to do what kids do; while I'm working I get to run around, make forts and crafts, and share laughs with some amazing people. As a babysitter/nanny I strive to promote learning and development for myself and the children through fun games and activities. I believe that my passion for young children conjoined with the years of experience and strong child development skills provide a cheerful and satisfying environment for children and parents alike. I am currently looking for something part-time in the Tigard area. As an elementary teacher, I am looking for a job during the summer months June-August) with potential weekends and weekday (nights) throughout the school year!
