Hi my name is Cozette! I am 19 years old and have been a babysitting since I was 12 years old. I have worked with so many different families and children of all ages ranging from 2 months old to 13 years old. I love working and being with children and is one of the reasons I babysit as much as I do. I am a sophomore at Portland State and am in the Pre-Nursing program so gaining experience babysitting is a huge asset for me and the more classes I take the more I learn and can apply for when I am taking care of children. I am CPR certified and am prepared for all instances, like taking care of sick children for example. One of the babysitting experiences that I have benefited most from was when I looked after a friends son with special needs. Learning patients to Read more that degree was extremely beneficial especially for when I am a nurse someday. One of the other reasons I love looking after kids is because I find it so fun getting to learn about them and I have an added benefit of being 19 because in many ways I can still be a kid as well when it come to being active with them and doing the activities they love to do. This is an asset that I have that many babysitters and nanny's would have. I also like making sure the kids I am with are doing something active during the day instead of being inside just watching tv. I feel that physical activity is key especially on beautiful summer days when there are so many things we could be doing. By hiring me you will know that I will always put the child or kids before myself and making sure that their needs are always met. Also if you own any pets I am totally comfortable with them and would be more than happy to include them into a routine of excersize or whatever is needed.
