I started babysitting when I was 11 years old. Ever since then, I have cared for children either by babysitting, volunteering in a church nursery or school, working at a daycare or school as a teacher's aide. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past 12 years. I also home schooled my oldest child for 2 years, and tutored 2 first graders in writing and reading. Over the past 23 years, most of my experience is with all ages up to 12 years old. I have a couple months of experience working with behavior impaired, and developmentally impaired children as a substitute instructional assistant in elementary, middle school and high school settings. I have a First Aid/CPR certification and a Food Handler's Card. I am an exceptionally patient person. I am creative, kind, loyal, soft spoken yet firm with rules, and consistent. I enjoy hiking, camping, reading, playing board Read more and card games, cooking, and organizing. I am looking forward to helping provide financially for my family with a job that I find very important, meaningful, and fun.
