Hi! My name is Ashley Byrne and I will be a senior at University of Oregon for this upcoming year majoring in Family & Human Services and Psychology. My ultimate career goal is to become a Child & Family Therapist. I have worked for children for many years as an Activity Leader for after school care, as well as take on a teacher role in Social Emotional Learning. I also helped run a classroom during the 2020-2021 school year for children who have had trouble learning from online school. It felt good to be able to be there for these children during that difficult time. During my experience working with kids, it made me realize how I wanted to work in the mental health field with them and how passionate I was to work with that age group. During Fall, I have accepted an internship at the HEDCO Family Clinic Read more and would love to find a way to still make money despite that and school. I would love to be a go-to babysitter for anyone who needs it! I will come at any night you would need me to! I would love to help parents get a night out for themselves and help entertain their kids as well! I have many fun activities in my Pinterest board from past projects I have done!
