Hey folks, my name is Brooks. I’m a 26 year-old man who is looking to put more energy and effort into working with younger kiddos. I’ve spent over a year babysitting my nieces—from ages 6 months to 2 years old—for both of my brothers. That being said, I have worked in many different roles working with kids ages 4-19 over the past handful of years, and have an extensive amount of training in communication, childhood development and what it means to be a caregiver and mentor. I have worked in wilderness therapy for the past two years, which has equipped me with the utmost compassion and patience. Prior to that, I worked as a Program Director at a YMCA, where I was regularly working with kids as young as 3.
