Hey! I have 10 years experience as a babysitter.I have worked with children birth to 12 years old! I really enjoy reading and using various methods of learning with children! I also have alot of experience with baby/basic sign language. Before staying home to homeschool my daughter I worked at a private preschool (not daycare) with kids from birth to 5 years and I can gladly give you those references! Our school was a learn through play school and I Am always setting up fun learning stations for my daughter! I have watched a lot of babies and children for families over the years have tons of references! At the school I worked at I loved to include yoga and cooking lessons! I also spent a lot of days working in the nursery with several babies at a time. I really enjoy books and love reading new children's books! My Read more daughter and I are known to read 5 books or more in one go we just love reading !My daughter is 5 and her reading and comprehension skills are off the charts! We Also like to attend church,cook, do crafts, play outside, dance and play dress up. We love sports and enjoy playing basketball and soccer. I also teach kids in the kitchen classes for kids age 2-14. I really enjoy getting kids active in the kitchen from an early age! I'm not sure if your familiar with Montessori methods but I love there passion for including children in everyday tasks including cooking! I reallly love to cook and am passionate about healthy eating and helping families to try and explore new foods! My parents were always amazed when their children gobbled up cauliflower pizza, avocado shakes, and the littles favorites was cute food art that went along with popular stories! I love teaching children new things and watching them grow. I really enjoying setting up activities and interacting with children of all ages it's the most rewarding job when they master a new skill! At the school I worked at I worked with numerous children with various needs ranging from English as a second language, speech delays, deaf kids, and kids on the spectrum. I am very adaptable and can come up with various activities for kids of all ages. We love to be active outside and within the community! I have a reliable car and passes to the zoo and museums!
