Hi! My name is Gracie :) I'm 20 years old, and I'm a sophomore at the University of Cincinnati, majoring in psychology and minoring in early childhood education and development, with a focus in early intervention. I am currently working as a behavior therapist at an early intervention center for young children with autism and other disabilities! I have also been a nanny for the past 2 summers for a young girl with down syndrome. In high school, I was a student aide in the special education classroom at Mason, and started the first cheer team for children with disabilities there. I also have interned at Mason Early Childhood Center in a 2nd grade inclusive classroom and in the kindergarten SCSF room. I was also a mentor for a young girl experiencing ACES. When I was in 8th grade, I started a social group for children and teenagers with disabilities. Read more This social group lasted up until I was a senior (COVID unfortunately put a halt to it :/ ). I have won the President's Volunteer Service award for over 200 hours of community service in one year, and the Prudential Spirit of Community medal for my work with children with disabilities.
