I have been taking care of my siblings for the last 12 years. I taught my sister how to read and encouraged her despite her dyslexia. I have also taught taekwondo to children 6 and up, for 7 years. Most often, children with mental disabilities or ADHD were placed in my group, so I have a decent amount of experience. Recently I have babysat for a child that is less than one years old, so I have experience with just about all age groups. I volunteer at elementary school clubs, with most students being in 2nd-6th grade. I also have 9 cats so I am very comfortable with animals! I am comfortable teaching kids and have done it for most of my life. I love kids because they haven't been taught societal norms yet. They are truly open minded and tend to look onto differences with kindness.
