I have 20+ years working with children ages 2 to 18. I am a special education teacher and looking to become a nanny again for a family that I could grow with. I loved being a nanny because I was able to support and entertain children on a more individualized basis where more authentic-lifelong learning and memories are created! Prior to 2004, I was a nanny for the same family for 5+ years (kids were aged 2 and 4 when I started). Once the children were old enough to attend school, my job as a nanny ended and I also began my career of teaching. I took care of the 2 boys, created dailt schedules with them to include reading, nature hikes, sight-seeing, science experiments and art projects to help develop their curiosity and excitement for learning! I also did house cleaning and cooked breakfast and lunch for the kids, Read more as well as dinner for the whole family. As much as I love teaching, I would welcome the opportunity to serve a family and help ease the typical stress that work and parenting entails. I am energetic, outgoing, extremely caring and patient with children. I am also very receptive to parents needs and values.
