I have an extensive background in childcare, including, but not limited to: La Petite Academy in Westerville, a personal Nanny for two families in Highland Lakes, also in Westerville, and a Christian church in Upper Arlington. I am a mom with two children and a small fluffy dog. I was experiencing setbacks in finding quality childcare for the hours I need it, and the verdict was stay home and possibly bless others with the items I have and the time I can share. I love the Montessori approach to learning, and although this is not at all similar to a Montessori school, I’d like my children, and yours, to experience life and learning from a relaxed home/educational approach. This would include daily experiments and hands on observational skills with items like water bowls and sponges. My preschooler loves watching things grow and/or explode. Many of our toys reflect science and Read more math for these reasons. We also have plenty of home-ec toys, building toys, and BLUEY (Disney) toys. There’s a big ball pit, play tent, tunnels, easels, board games, video games, puzzles and more. Boredom is not really an option, but rest certainly is. I'm being silly/clever. However your child is more than welcome to bring their things to rest, as there will be 1.5 hours of down time after lunch/outside time each day. I have a home security system that is web based and can be accessed anytime. To ensure safety for my family and current students, there are steps to enroll that are easy and beneficial for all.
