Hello! I am Jess. I have a seasonal job that I love- Preschool Portraits Photographer through LifeTouch- and we are off during the summer. I would love to find a summer job (~30 hrs/week) doing what I love, which is working with kids. I find that I connect with kids naturally, and love to relate to each child on an individual basis. I have a loving heart, and I pay attention to detail, providing a safe and developmentally-encouraging environment while embracing each child’s unique ways. I am 32 and have worked with children since I started babysitting at the age of 12, when I took my first First Aid/ CPR training through a Red Cross Babysitters Course. I babysat for multiple families throughout the years, and moved on to nannying in high school. I then took a position at Joyland Preschool and Childcare in Dublin, where I worked for 7 Read more years. I began as a floater working in every classroom, then in the Toddler Room for most of my time, and finally teaching Pre-K. In more recent years, I nannied for a family of 4 for 2 years. I also continued periodically babysitting, as well as held a job as a server at Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. From 2014-2020, I served as a kayak instructor with a non-profit organization serving the community of Columbus, as well as partnering with groups such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Boys and Girls Club. I'd love to discuss things further, and see if we are a good fit!
