I have been working at the same summer camp since the summer of 2016, getting to work with youth between the ages of 5 and 17 years old. This is where I found I had enjoyed working with youth and teaching to become the best person they can be. The fall of 2021 I started working at an elementary school as a teacher's aide. I mostly work with kids between the ages of 5 and 9 at the school. While working at the school I have found the passion of also getting to work with youth with behavioral issues. Towards the end of fall and early winter of 2021 I started babysitting for families for date nights or as needed, working with kids as young as 3. Once the 2022/2023 school year came around I started to stick with one family babysitting overnight while the parent is at work, this Read more was two kids youngest being 6 years old. Throughout my time of working with youth I have learned many different ways to work with them and help them grow. I am known for being fun and energetic, but can be serious and stern if there is a situation that occurs. I feel it is always great to get to know the family as it makes it easier to work with them and for both sides to feel comfortable with each other. In addition to this, I am not one to look at myself as just some babysitter or nanny for a family, but rather a older brother for the kids and an additional support system for the parents. I am currently CPR and First Aid Certified and have been lifeguard certified in the past, I am not one for electronics, but rather a person to go outdoors and play at a park or go on nature hikes. Even though I am not one for electronics, I do still enjoy doing a movie night on weekends with the kids if they so choose. I am all about new experiences, not just for myself, but for the families as well.
