Hello! My name is Kara though most younger kids call me Kay-Kay. I am 20 years old, and I have been a sitter/nanny since I was 13 years old. I got into babysitting because I love being around children; helping teach them, and listening to their interests and thoughts! I never get tired of hearing their ideas and dreams and supporting them! Also, one of my dreams, when I was a little kid, was to be like Marry Poppins when I grew up, so naturally becoming a nanny was the choice for me! When I first started out I was sitting for military families in the community I lived in and then branched into nanny positions when I turned 17 to help parents who were deployed or TDY. I have experience with children 2 months- 11 years old. In addition, I have served as a tutor for elementary-age kids (grades Read more 1-7), and I have some experience with children who are on the spectrum as well as children who live with other medical conditions.
