Hello! My name is Delaney and I am a student at Ohio State studying Human Development and Family Science and minors in Public Health and Disability Studies. This course of study has educated me on developmental needs through the lifespan and I have taken particular courses from infants to adolescents. One of the organizations I am involved in is BlueFish Swim School, an organization that provides free swim lessons to kids with developmental disabilities. I was an instructor then became president where I worked closely with swimmers and families. I also have my State Tested Nurse's Aide License and have experience working in a nursing home as an STNA. While the residents are on different sides of the age spectrum as kids, I feel this job prepared me well for all forms of caretaking. I performed tasks of daily living for residents as well as being calm and managing for Read more any fast-paced or emergencies. I also have an interest in working with one family and making a strong connection and work relationship. Overall, I am looking for part-time but an open to full-time. I have a car and am willing to drive as needed!
