Hi there! My name is Rachel, and I recently graduated from The Ohio State University in May of 2022 with a B.A. in Strategic Communication. I’ve been working full-time at Denison University since then as a frontline fundraiser, working closely with current students to teach them the importance of philanthropy in their community and towards their alma mater. Now after working full-time for a year, I’m looking forward to filling up some of my evenings and weekends doing what I used to enjoy doing in my free time during high school and college: working with kids! I absolutely love to bake with kids and teach them new recipes to share with the whole family! After working as a camp counselor for 3 summers in a row, I can confidently say I’m a board game connoisseur and can find something fun for us to do whether we have technology around or Read more not. I have my own car, and I’m willing to pick the kids up, carpool, run errands, or take them out for a fun activity! I’m located in New Albany, and I would be happy to bring the kids to the pool at my apartment complex if that’s something you’re comfortable with. In my free time, I like to crochet, hangout with friends, craft, and spend time with my two kitties. I absolutely love all animals, and I would be willing to provide pet care as well if needed. Additionally, I can help with schoolwork and have a strong background in English, writing, and grammar. I also have experience in math and science, as I spent my first two years in college as a Biology major. I have references available upon request.
