Hi, my name is Claire Oberst. I am 21 years old, and from Cincinnati. I am in my senior year at Ohio State. My major is Psychology and minors are business and German. In my free time I love to go camping, read, work out and play lacrosse. I have 7 years of experience in caregiving, and have taken care of infants and children from the ages of one and a half to thirteen. I have been babysitting for many families for 3+ years. My last few years of highschool and into the beginning of college I worked at a summer camp, Camp Ernst. I worked as a lifeguard and was registered for 2 years in CPR, first aid, oxygen and lifeguarding. I also worked as a counselor for 2 years, I have had lots of experience with problem solving and general safety of children. I am also babysitter certified Read more through the Red Cross. I worked in a daycare for my first two years of college and have been a full time nanny for the past two summers. I feel comfortable making meals for children as well as some homework help.I also enjoy taking kids to park or playing with them outside, as well as doing other arts and crafts projects.I am currently on the executive board club at OSU called bluefish where we conduct swim activities with children with developmental disabilities and am part of a Service Fraternity.I have always enjoyed working with children and always have fun, and I understand my role as a role model and authority figure for your children. I have been fully vaccinated against Covid since March and all of my roommates are as well.
