I'm from Chicago. I went to the Art Institute of Chicago where I developed my art portfolio. I received a scholarship to attend Xavier University; I have a bachelors in fine art and a bachelors in education (K-12). My teaching license is current and up to date. I taught for seven years; one year at Saint Paul's in Florence, KY (K-8) where 656 students rotated through the art room a week. The other six years I taught with Sycamore (K-12). I've also worked in the restaurant industry for the past 22 years, as I've typically held multiple jobs. I just recently graduated from Good Samaritan College of Nursing, said goodbye to restaurants and I'm preparing to take my boards. I eventually want to be a pediatric nurse practitioner and work in the ER, but one step at a time :) Currently, I'm looking for an opportunity that is fun, involves Read more kids and allows me time to study the remaining part of the day when I'm not working. I should add that I started a babysitting business at the age of 11 and helped raise my brother eight years my younger; thus, my experience with children is threefold, as a sitter/nanny, educator and nursing student. If I sound like someone that would be right for your family, I can be contacted at 847-507-6233.
