My favorite hobbies are genealogy research and a variety of crafts. Pets are no problem! My 2 dogs Sybil and Titus keep me busy with walks and kisses. I am very loving, patient, and outgoing and love having activities children find fun and entertaining. There is no greater joy than the love of children. I truly love working with young kids, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel loved, protected and can thrive. I look forward to meeting your family and spending time with your children. Kathy worked for our family for five years, taking care of our two daughters (then 8 and 10) after school. She picked them up (from two different schools), drove them to activities and appointments, oversaw homework and music practices, as needed. The girls always felt very comfortable with Kathy and she took a genuine interest in them. Kathy was dependable, reliable, and quickly became an integral and important member of our family. (In the years she worked with us, Kathy only missed one day!) As the girls grew up, Kathy easily adapted to their changing needs and schedules. Her positive attitude, willingness to help, flexibility and excellent care was invaluable. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our daughters were so well cared for by someone we trusted completely. Our oldest daughter is now 16 and driving so our after-school needs have changed. We feel so lucky to have had these important years with Kathy! She would be an asset to any family.

Kathy babysat for my two girls (age 8 and 10) this past school year every day after school. She has been an excellent after school babysitter. She truly treats them like they are her own children. My husband and I always feel the girls are well cared for and safe when they are with Kathy. It is such a good feeling to know your children are in good hands when you can't be with them. They have a busy schedule and Kathy is at ease with everything - picking them up from school, making sure there homework is done, getting them to activities, healthy snacks, dinner when we are working late, whatever we need. She takes a genuine interest in their lives and activities. She is very dependable and flexible with her schedule. In the entire school year, she never missed a day! We will definitely want her back for next school year!! Thanks Kathy!
