Hello everyone, my name is Tessa and I am currently attending BGSU. I am a junior and am majoring to become an intervention specialist. I am 22 years old and I already have a tremendous amount of experience when it comes to babysitting and caregiving for others. My current job while I am at home is a caregiver for one of my brothers group homes in his business. I am in charge of taking care of 4 low-functioning autistic men and my oldest brother also has low-functioning autism. Just from growing up with him, I have had so many real-life experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. I have also babysat for one family for about 5 years in my hometown that had 3 children (ages when I went away to college were 9,5,2) Babysitting is something that brings me joy and it’s right up my Read more alley when it comes to all the experience that I have. Other experiences I have had are: - volunteering in a first grade classroom - volunteering my whole senior year at an autistic center for children in the k-3 classroom (had all low-functioning nonverbal autistic boys) -assisting as a student aid in various elementary, middle, and high school classrooms (required field work for my major at bgsu) -babysitting for multiple families in the area (ages 1-12) As of right now, my availability for September is: Mondays: 10:00am-3:00pm Tuesdays: 2:45pm-9:00pm Wednesdays: 10:00am-3:00pm Thursdays: 2:45pm-5:15pm Fridays: 10:00am-3:00pm Days that differ from this schedule are: Wednesday, Sep 4th: 6:00am-5:00pm Fri, Sep 6th: 6:00am-5:00pm Monday, Sep 30th: 6:00am-5:00pm This schedule is solely based off of what would work best for me in regard to school. *I am not available in August at all*
