I have always been passionate about working with children. I enjoy teaching them and watching them grow! I have been told I am very patient, caring, dependable, and determined when it comes to working with kids. I am creative and imaginative, always keeping little ones learning. I quickly develop trusting relationships with children and their families. I am a very kind-hearted and patient person in general. I earned my Bachelor's of Art in Psychology from the University of Dayton and also have my Masters in School Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. Through my experiences working as a counselor, I have learned about how to encourage and empower children. I have 20+ years of experience caring for children. This experience includes private full-time nannying, teaching at a daycare, evening babysitting, and volunteering at summer camps. In addition, I have been a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters for the past Read more six years. For several years, I worked at the Bombeck Family Learning Center at the University of Dayton. There I cared for students from ages of 6 months to 6 years old. I independently supervised groups of children, organized lesson plans, and problem-solved with parents. I cared for students of diverse backgrounds and of differing learning abilities. I have also been a nanny for many different ages groups! I absolutely love playing outside and am very energetic. I enjoy games in general with the little ones. Working at a daycare, I quickly learned how to read dramatically to kids and make books fun! I also enjoy incorporating music into childcare. Please message me if you'd like to talk more about how I can provide support for your family!
