I am currently in college for music teacher education. I hope to be a music teacher in a school system but am undecided in regards to which age groups I want to teach. I started babysitting in middle school after being a mothers' helper for some years. I now babysit and nanny when I am home from college, over the summer and during my breaks. I have worked at a daycare and preschool for 3 years which gave me a lot of insight on caring for children. I have completed the Red Cross Babysitting Course and have experience dealing with mental and physical disabilities. I have worked with children that have autism, ADHD, and other disorders. I have my own car and am comfortable driving children. I love going on day-trips with kids or bringing them out to do something. I am comfortable with all ages. I love babysitting because, Read more besides loving to work with children, it gives me experience for my job in the future. I also love to make connections with people as much as I can to further my career. I find my joy in the joy of children which is why I am so excited to teach.
