My number one goal in life is to become mother one day, so I love getting experience with children and caring for them. I love kids and would love to be a great influence to them, they teach you patience and are just precious. I am a patient and gentle person but I know when to put my foot down and say no or time out, i believe strongly in being kind but firm. I grew up watched by different types of sitters and I’ve learned a lot from them all. I also know how hard it is for parents to find help to take care of their kids while working or living a busy life. My mom wouldn’t have been able to do it without the countless sitters I had growing up and I hope to be that relief to any family that needs it. I’ve watched kids from Read more a young age but more recently in the past 3-4 years have I babysat children. I am currently 19 years old, I have my own car and I’m comfortable driving kids anywhere if needed. I’ve watched kids as young as 1 to as old as about 12. I’m experienced with newborns, I know how to change diapers, bathe babies, burp them and feed them. I am more experienced with toddlers and elementary aged kids but I am comfortable with watching newborns. I’ve sat for friends kids, some family members kids and for people I had just met for a more professional type of job. I am CPR certified and I plan to become first aid certified as well. I’m good with dogs, cats, and really any animal you may need to be cared for. I can cook and meal prep, pack lunches, I can do laundry and I’m open to other light housekeeping. I’m also open to helping with homework, playing games, doing crafts, physical activity, going to the park etc. you name it, I love having fun with kids and helping them to learn and grow.
