During the day, I teach first grade here in Westchester County. I have been teaching first grade for the last two previously taught kindergarten and second grade. Now that I have settled into my career, I am getting back into babysitting so I can work directly with children of all ages. Hi! I am semi retired. I currently work at the Hudson County Montessori School on Quaker Road here in New Rochelle as a substitute teacher. I work primarily with the toddler and primary school kids. I just love working there and am daily amazed on the Montessori approach to education and how self reliant physically and emotionally children can be when it is expected of them.
